New album for Melania Jack Independent artist Melania Jack recently recorded her new EP "In the Birds Belly", and to help visualise her musical masterpiece Jet Blaq Design created her EP cover art. "I first visited Jet Blaq at the beginning of recording, I was amazed that the design evolved in conjunction with the music, equally influencing each other. A truly symbiotic creation. I couldn't be more happy with the results" Melania Jack Jet Blaq Design supported Melania in a similar way that a record company would, producing not only EP design but all supporting press material. From a themed bio, press release package and myspace page, this project proves that a dream can become a reality. Jet Blaq Design is currently working with three other independent artists. With so many companies under the Astec Australia umbrella creating a strong Brand Equity was essential. Each advertisement could be a completely different product or for a completely different market so creating a recognisable identity for Astec Australia was the challenge. Jet Blaq Design succeeded in doing so by creating a hierarchy within the multiple brands, and creating a ad style that would be instantly recognisable even if the subject matter changed greatly. Weekly favorites include poker, t-bone trivia and funky fridays, with alternative events on Sunday. Supporting the new look advertising, Jet Blaq Design created a kangaroo character, that is part of the bars logo. The character changes along with the Sunday entertainment, only slightly as Brand recognition is still at the forefront of the design.                            Best Packaging Design Award Nominated for "Best Packaging Design". More than just a cabaret night, the event provides something for everyone, and guests will be able to dance the night away to some of the communities favourite Dj's. With generous support from the Brisbane/Northern NSW LGBTIQQ community the Event is sure to be a hit and a fun-filled night. One could think of no better way to introduce the unique and beautiful sounds of  "In the Birds Belly" to such a supportive audience.
