Jet Blaq Design was
approached to design the look and feel for new fashion website
AskBronny.com. (including the AskBronny logo)
An internet hybrid of the popular TV series ‘What
Not To Wear’ and magazine ‘Shop Til’ You Drop’ AskBronny aimed to
present itself with a twist focusing primarily on advice.

AskBronny lists it’s mission statement as: ‘a fashion website created
to demystify fashion for women in a safe, fun, interactive, online
environment through advice, education and information whilst aiming to
create well dressed, confident women reflecting their true selves’.
Further, it is updated regularly whilst offering everything from the
history of shoes through to the seasons hottest looks.
The first task for JetBlaq was the creation of the AskBronny logo and
tagline. Both had to be feminine and stylish with the mission
reflected.
Inspired by the interactive nature of the AskBronny
community a signature motive was chosen with the tagline ‘your online
fashion stylist’.

For the website Jetblaq turned to popular women’s magazines for
inspiration and with the help of fun
and lively content the site was
launched in October 06.
In December the website launched with a 'soft' campaign via the email
newsletter ‘Styling’ which Jet Blaq also designed. This was followed with a
hard launch in the form of a postcard campaign also in December 06. The
newsletter needed to have a magazine feel to it whilst the postcards
would need to communicate to women shopping in retail outlets. As
such, the postcard campaign targeted Melbourne fashion outlets in
conjunction with the coffee shop scene.
The first postcard released was titled "Ask Who?" with details of the
website on both sides of the card. This was followed by multiple
designs with the "AskBronny" branding key.

Further campaigns are planned for 2007 including further postcard
distributions (Sydney) and a second look and feel for AskBronny.com
incorporating each of the AskBronny postcard characters.
